The next round of US-Cuban discussions will be held on January 21 and 22 in Havana. Deputy Assistant Secretary Alex Lee is expected to lead the U.S. delegation at the migration talks on the 21st, while Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Roberta Jacobson will lead at the normalization talks on Jan. 22nd.

The Cuban delegation is expected to be led by Josefina Vidal, director of the North American Affairs Division within Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Vidal led the previous round of migration talks last July in Washington, D.C. A member of the Communist Party of Cuba’s Central Committee, Vidal was thrown out of the US in May 2003 as part of a mass expulsion of Havana’s spy-diplomats. For five years, her office also played a central role in the negotiations regarding the return of USAID contractor Alan Gross.

  1. I think, for starters, the U.S. State Department ought to bring down Neil Sedaka to do a in “Salsa rhythm and beat” the song “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do”. The lyrics are perfect for the occasion.

Specially, the parts in the song that say: “Think of all that we´ve been through” and “can´t we give our love a brand new try” and “Come on baby let´s start anew cause breaking-up is hard to do.”

“Breaking Up Is Hard To Do”

    Do do do
    Down dooby doo down down
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down down
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down down
Breaking up is hard to do

Don’t take your love away from me
Don’t you leave my heart in missery
If you go then I’ll be blue
Cause breaking up is hard to do

Remember when you held me tight
And you kissed me all through the night
Think of all that we’ve been through
And breaking up is hard to do

They say that breaking up is hard to do
    Now I know
    I know that it’s true
Don’t say that this is the end
Instead of breaking up I wish that we were making up again

I beg of you don’t say goodbye
Can’t we give our love another try?
Come on, baby, let’s start anew
Cause breaking up is hard to do

They say that breaking up is hard to do
    Now I know
    I know that it’s true
Don’t say that this is the end
Instead of breaking up I wish that we were making up again

I beg of you don’t say goodbye
Can’t we give our love another try?
Come on, baby, let’s start anew
Cause breaking up is hard to do

    (Down dooby doo down down)
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down down
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down down
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down down
Comma, comma, down dooby doo down

THEN CUBA WILL COME BACK WITH ITS OWN SONG, A CUBAN BOLERO SUNG BY ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ:

……..Just a little humor, millions of Cubans on both sides are waiting for peace to be the word between two homelands separted by only ninety miles from each other. It doesn´t seem real after so much suffering, displacement, lives lost, families separated by what on a deathbed and the ever after will seem so small and so insignificant. Kudos for the U.S. and Kudos for Cuba for trying hard in earnest. There will be new generations.

  2. Our authorities should be looking for an indictment against Raul Castro and the Members of the criminal organization MININT,along with the corrupt Cuban Generals instead of trying to befriend a murderous dictator. The corrupt Castro family pretends the World is going to forget all the atrocities committed by his regime in Cuba and other countries. Why don’t we talk of free elections for Cuba and prosecution to all those Cubans members of the repressive Cuban regime involved in crimes against the world and Cubans?Garrido!!! the families were separated by murderous communist regime implanted in Cuba by the dictator Fidel Castro.THERE WILL BE A NEW GENERATION BUT THERE IS JUSTICE TO BE SERVED!!!!AND WILL BE SERVED!!!!!GARRIDO RETURN TO CUBA WHERE YOU BELONG!!!! DOWN TO COMMUNISM!!!

  3. You start your post by stating “Our authorities”, sport, as referring to the United States of America. as you´ve done, which makes your commentary not only self-serving, but even worst, deplorably presumptious about a policy issue the United States of America, as a nation, has already decided upon–and I care to underscore–“no-thanks” to you or to your way of thinking, and “no thanks” to your personal interests, but the interests of the great American society you live-in. And never forget that.

If you´re an American citizen, conduct yourself like one, make your interests American and don´t compromise the political interests of this American nation by what is not even a specle of an issue in the minds of the American public opinion sparsed throughout this great land, aside from the minor radical Cuban American sector of the South Florida population, which you most likely represent. You had better learn the great American adage of teaching, which says: “If you can´t beat the sytem join it and change it from within”. So please, sport, spare me your hollow commentary and don´t lecture me about returning to Cuba, while being fastidiously presumptious and simultaneously irreverent to state where I belong or not. I leave you with he following thought:

I´m sure you you don´t know, in the least sport, (if you want to talk staright and not within your erroneous and presumptious zone) and reason enough why you wouldn´t even be able remember, our government also harbored fugitives and killers of Jews, on United States soil, after world war II, and not just onefugitive, but, over two hundred murderers and fugitives. You will recall officers from the Hitler´s SS where part of “Operation Paperclip” which was from the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) program in which over 1,500 German scientists, technicians, and engineers from Nazi Germany and other foreign countries were brought to the United States for employment in the aftermath of World War II. It was conducted by the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA), and in the context of the burgeoning Cold War. One purpose of Operation Paperclip was to deny German scientific expertise and knowledge to the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom, as well as inhibiting post-war Germany from redeveloping its military research capabilities.

You will remember, sport, although the JIOA’s recruitment of German scientists began after the Allied victory in Europe on May 8, 1945, U.S. President Harry Truman did not formally order the execution of Operation Paperclip until August 1945. Truman’s order expressly excluded anyone found “to have been a member of the Nazi Party, and more than a nominal participant in its activities, or an active supporter of Nazi militarism”. However, those restrictions would have rendered ineligible most of the leading scientists the JIOA had identified for recruitment, among them rocket scientists Wernher Von Braun, Kurt H. Debus and Arthur Rudolph, and the physician Hubertus Strughold, each earlier classified as a “menace to the security of the Allied Forces”. The Allied Forces lost thousands of lives at the hands of the Nazi enemy. However, to circumvent President Truman’s anti-Nazi order and the Allied Potsdam and Yalta agreements, the JIOA worked independently to create false employment and political biographies for the scientists.

The JIOA also expunged from the public record the scientists’ Nazi Party memberships and regime affiliations. Once “bleached” of their Nazism, the scientists were granted security clearances by the U.S. government to work in the United States. Paperclip, the project’s operational name, derived from the paperclips used to attach the scientists’ new political personae to their “US Government Scientist” JIOA personnel files. Not one single of these 1,500 German scientists got indicted. You haven´t a clue.

So again, spare me of your unfounded lectures sprinkled with your chanting and respect other people´s opinion, which is very different to your un-american-like imposition, to signal for I to return to Cuba. You´re totally un-american to say the least. Instead, show your name and don´t hide behind it. You´re not a “Freedom Seeker” you´re a “Freedoms Repressor” .

  4. I do not remember this “lady’ from the “old DGI” that were very Professional. These “new officers” just follow the Instruction of the Party. Impossible to use ‘the Intelligence” with them

  5. Let me start saying that Yes,I’m a US Citizen and Yes I defended this nation ideals during my combat tours in the middle east and yes I will defend democracy until the last drop of my blood. Why?Simple because I had the misfortune of living under the communist boot and the US gave me FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY! things that in Cuba are non-existing under the regime of the murderous and alcoholic dictator Raul Castro Ruz.This democracy is for people that genuinely believe in democracy and are citizens that provide to society unlike you that live in democracy and defend the tenets of a hateful dictator named Fidel and his alcoholic brother Raul Castro the ones at fault of the destruction of an Island and the systematic destruction of a society as well as the systematic assassination of thousands of their citizens.

The South Florida Exile which you call a minority are two millions of Cubans which their immense majority left Cuba because they did not like communism. If Cuba was such a great paradise why are the Cubans fleeing to Miami?
Let me refresh your mind.Castro pioneered the used of German military personnel when in 1959 he used four German SS Officers to trained his Armed Forces.Castro The German BUNDESNACHRICHTENDIENST (BND) reported that Castro recruited German personnel for training and traffic of German pistols to Cuba which brokers were SS Officers.
The Cuban prisons are a Copy of the East German prisons which derived from Nazi methods and the way the Cuban
criminal organization MININT Interrogates is the same way the East German interrogates are their methods derived from the
German Gestapo or Geswherstaatspolizei,I’m suggesting that if you are going to debate used your own BRAIN instead of the Cuban “GRANMA” newspaper.
The Soviets also used German personnel, they employed the German air force Engineer ex-Nazi named Ferdinand Brandner to design the propellers of their TU-95 Bomber still in use by Russia. The Soviets used hundreds of Gestapo Officers to build the infrastructure of the East German Secret Police or Stasi. The only unfounded lectures are the one carried out by the criminals organization MININT in and out of Cuba to indoctrinate people. Why do I call MININT a criminal Organization? because they are directed by criminal personnel like MACHO Peralta which directed the torture and Interrogation camp Villa Marista and employed criminal personnel like the Coronel Tito Marquez which was in charge of the department 11 of the MININT. Marquez was in charge of Administering the coup de grace to the political prisoners that were executed in the firing squads and Coronel Ernesto Samper which directed the department 21 of the MININT TO repressed the ladies in white movement. As you can see,the GREAT diference between you and me is that I Do not bow to a dictator like you.I’m simple not a SERVILE PUPPET LIKE YOU!……May 27 1966…. 166 political prisoners are executed in the Cabana prison in Havana. The blood of the prisoners was extracted against their will and the blood was sold to the Republic of VIET Nam for $50 a Pint, the proceeds were pocketed by a dictator named Fidel Castro which gave such orders on January 20th 1961….Garrido,this is the regime you defend and once again …RETURN TO CUBA!.

  7. FREEDOM SEEKER:

“This democracy is for people that genuinely believe in democracy and are citizens that provide to society unlike you that live in democracy and defend the tenets of a hateful dictator named Fidel and his alcoholic brother Raul Castro the ones at fault of the destruction of an Island and the systematic destruction of a society as well as the systematic assassination of thousands of their citizens.”

    JORGE GARRIDO:

Your false high hopes of confusing the term “democracy” by then equating it to the imposition of your personal views and your own political beliefs upon others–as the rule of law–is patently evident of your total ignorance of what “democracy” means sport. And I´m not kidding either, You had better get yourself an education on the subject matter, before you let your mouth run like its filled with ignorance to think a “democracy” embraces ONLY one group´s views, period: “yours”. If anything, you harbor the same fundamental and erroneous thought processes as does the present government of Cuba, which has a one party system and does not allow another party to participate in the functions of government. It therefore represents a monadic political dogma (communism), rather than representing a pluralistic political dogma, which embraces all societal groups, as I do different to you who then calims and hails democratic principles, but only in a self-serving manner. Now, sport, simply because you do not accept my views and political beliefs, you have unequivocably demonstrated you do not know what a democracy is.

Therefore, read the following carefully and I will proceed here to provide you a free lesson on Democracy, which you probably didn´t pay attention in school, I´m quite sure and you must know it too I suspect. “Democracy” is not a cuban exile cliché to throw around when you want to expout your hate for Cuba or anybody who doesn´t think as you do, because then you´re just as Cuba. The father of geometry “Euclid” discovered a correct axiom, which says: “If a: and b.) are just like c.) then a.) and b.) are thus equal amongst themselves.” To express this true theorem in plain words: Two things that are equal to a third thing are thus equal amongst themselves. Let me give you a background on democracy sport:

1.) U.S. president Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) defined democracy as: «Government of the people, by the people, for the people»

2.) Democracy is by far the most challenging form of government – both for politicians and for the people. The term democracy comes from the Greek language and means “rule by the (simple) people”. The so-called “democracies” in classical antiquity (Athens and Rome) represent precursors of modern democracies. Like modern democracy, they were created as a reaction to a concentration and abuse of power by the rulers. Yet, the theory of modern democracy was not formulated until the Age of Enlightment (17th/18th centuries), when philosophers defined the essential elements of democracy:

    A.) Separation of powers,
B.) Basic civil rights/human rights (which you violate by your imposition of your beliefs of other people in this society)
C.) Religious liberty and separation of church and state.

3.) Today, the majority of democratic countries in the world are republics, i.e. officials are elected. Some well-established democratic countries in Europe, however, such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg and the Scandinavian countries are CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHIES, i.e. a king or queen is head of state while the constitution guarantees nevertheless all basic rights as in any democratic republic and sets clear limits to duties and competences of the monarch. Such a king can be regarded as a stabilizing factor rather than as a danger for a democracy. Therefore the classical definition of democracy is little helpful – at least concerning monarchy.

4.) In order to deserve the label “modern democracy”, a country needs to fulfill some basic requirements – and they need not only be written down in it’s constitution but must be kept up in everyday life by politicians and authorities:

A.) Guarantee of basic Human Rights to every individual person vis-à-vis the state and its authorities as well as vis-à-vis any social groups (especially religious institutions) and vis-à-vis other persons.

B.) Separation of Powers between the institutions of the state:

    C.) Government [Executive Power],

D.)Parliament [Legislative Power] and Courts of Law [Judicative Power]

E.) Freedom of opinion, speech, press and mass media Religious liberty

F.) General and equal right to vote (one person, one vote) Good Governance (public interest and absence of corruption)

SO PLEASE DON´T LECTURE ME ON WHAT A “DEMOCRACY” IS WHEN YOU´RE NOT A PRACTICING DEMOCRATIC CITIZEN BY FOLLISHLY ATTEMPTING TO IMPOSE UPON OTHER PEOPLE YOUR VIEWS. You are not a democratic citizen sport, you´re just full of yourself and do not respect divergent views to yours. It goes like this: “democracy” is “a woman” and you´re “a rapist” of that democracy. Perhaps this makes you understand better. It is what it is.

    THE FREEDOM SEEKER:

“The South Florida Exile, which you call a minority are two millions of Cubans which their immense majority left Cuba because they did not like communism. If Cuba was such a great paradise why are the Cubans fleeing to Miami?”

    JORGE GARRIDO:

I did not call “Cubans” to be a minority as you have falsely stated here I did. No, I stated and reiterate here once again, the fact that the majority of the citizens of Cuban descent that are (and I express “Cuban descent”, since many former Cubans are U.S. citizens today and not Cuban citizens, but instead, they are American citizens as you–yourself–claimed to be at the opening of your irrational statements, which you so erroneously expressed) living in South Florida, favor the lowering of the cuban trade embargo and the re-establishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba. A demographic population segment may represent the substantial mayority of a geographic area´s population, but, that does not mean that same substantial portion of the population demographic composition thinks or believes ALL in the same way. The fact is, Cuban Americans are a significant portion of the South Florida population, yet, the majority favor the end of the trade embargo and the restoration of diplomatic relations. You´re a very confused thinker. Only the minority of the Cuban American population in South Florida are unhappy of the fact the United States and Cuba have restored diplomatic relationships.

And again, as I did in my prior post: who are you to impose on the 300+ million American citizens in this country what this American nation does or does not? So you know sport, America wants the U.S. and Cuba to have restored diplomatic relations, now if you don´t like that, then do what you believe you need to do–although through a democratic process–to change that.

You are dilusional–and undemocratic–I tell you, by believing that a small group of Cuban Americans relative to the remainder of the U.S. total population, can come here and hijack the foreign policy of the United States of America belonging to its 300 million plus citizens.

    FREEDOM SEEKER:

YOU are a puppet (referring to me you stated)

    JORGE GARRIDO:

Let me take a deep breath to allow more space for the hot air-filled marvelous resonance of your hollow words of anorexic wisdom. And then, let me cut a “long fart” in dedication to the sub-level grade of your intelligence. Six million (6,000,000) Jews suffered at the hands of Nazi Germany and today Nazi Germany is no more. Germans later tore down that wall without firing one single shot. If not, ask Ronald Reagan in his grave and all of those who intently watched that day across the globe.

I earnestly defend the right of the United States to fully restore diplomatic relations with the country of Cuba and anything you misrepresent about my persona, through your false statements, constitutes libel through libelous commentary–thus public libel–for it is written here in this blog in black and white and pursuant to the laws–not of Cuba–but the laws of the United States of America, which you claim to so highly regard, but in practice DISREGARD THROUGH YOUR FALSE STATEMENTS. If you believe in the democratic principles as you claim but DO NOT PRACTICE THEM, you had better start to live by them sport, because you have just made a fool of yourself for the record. And that is not “insult”, such as you practice, being a foolish by attempting to make arguments devoid of knowledge and filled with ignorance on several grounds now here as recorded fact.

    Govern yourself accordingly.

  8. Imposition of personal views are the views forced by the dictatorial communist government of Cuba directed by Raul Castro upon the Cuban population,I’m not forcing any views upon anyone but it is my right o express my self freely to say the truth.
Stalin murdered 30 000 000 Russians. What is the Cuban dictator seeking with these so call reforms?Let’s reflect. The embargo is lifted(LET’S SUPPOSE BUT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY)Raul is going to openly benefit from the process by getting richer even more than what he actually is.Why?simply because the Cuban industry is controlled by the MINiNT which runs everything in Cuba including his medium of production. The Cuban people will be even poorer than what actually is and the corrupt Cuban Generals and Castro ROYAL family will grow richer.

Raul Castro pretends that the world is going to forget events like the sinking of the recreational ship 20 Aniversario, the shot down of the Brothers to the rescue airplanes and the elimination of 18 000 Cuban citizens murdered by firing squads as well as 26 American Citizens,250 women murdered and 500 political prisoners murdered in Villa Marista and other interrogation centers by the criminal organization MININT. The 77 000 Cubans murdered or drown in the Florida Strait while looking for freedom,Now is it logical for the criminals that committed those acts to get away from justice unpunished?
It is all right for those criminals that murdered people in Cuba to come to the US to enjoy the same benefits Americans are enjoying when not long ago these same people were fighting the democratic system of United States of America and its ideology?
Let’s reason,Raul Castro is mending the grievances within his nation to avoid prosecution for him and his followers in case his repressive system will fall.

  9. Through the years the Cuban Government has implemented the so called changes and at the end Raul Castro and Fidel Castro always look for a way to get away from their compromise.Why/Because they really do not have any interest on the embargo been lifted. Why?because who are they going to blame if the embargo is lifted for all the inefficacy of their government?I have always have said the Embargo is the Castro family and not the embargo itself. The Cuban people need to establish a choice of what they really want in life.Do they want to be free or they rather prefer to be sunbathing in Cuban spending their well earned dollars feeding a dictatorship that is falling to sub-exist.
Now,the transition in my opinion is not going to be a quiet transition, there is going to be personal vendettas against those members of the fallen regime.I would not be surprised if people would be executed the same way that Iraqi executed Hussein loyalists in Iraq.
There is also a change a civil war will erupt between the three mayor Armies in Cuba once the dictator dies.It is a really complex situation that would need the law to be serve the right way to make sure justice is apply to only those that have committed crimes. As for now,I don think there is going to be a legitimate normalization of relationship while the dictator is still governing. The changes are not going to come from outside, the changes are going to come radically from inside the regime, like a coup or assassination within their government structure or military ranks.

  10. A real transition will take place once the dictator is deposed why?because Raul Castro will never tolerate free elections in Cuba where he is not present in absolute control.Raul Castro has already elected his follower to extend his dictatorship because even if he is not in power,Raul Castro appointee will continue his legacy of repression and terror, this is why I’m saying that there is not possibility of real apertures if Raul Castro is still in power.

  11. FREEDOM SEEKER:

“I’m not forcing any views upon anyone but it is my right o express my self freely to say the truth.”

    JORGE GARRIDO

As it is now memorialized here in this blog entitled “Cuba Confidential” and as I said to you in my prior post, your are in the United States of America, so therefore your personal views while respected and while you must also always respect the views of others–even if you vehemently disagree–are not what defines a democracy, nor are your views what a democracy stands for. You have a presumptious view of how things are and very self-serving. And to proof you wrong here´s what you said before: “This democracy is for people that genuinely believe in democracy and are citizens that provide to society unlike you that live in democracy and defend the tenets of a hateful dictator named Fidel and his alcoholic brother Raul Castro the ones at fault of the destruction of an Island and the systematic destruction of a society as well as the systematic assassination of thousands of their citizens.”

So therefore, what I “stand for or” what “I care to defend” or whatever “my political positions are”–in spite of the fact you are in error regarding my political position–is a nevertheless right to all of those political beliefs, political positions and neither you nor anyone else can come forward to monopolize Democracy on the basis or your views, nor is such what defines this great American Society.

Therefore, if I defend the legitimate right of the United States and Cuba to come once again together after so many years as two nations that have determined to re-establish diplomatic relations, you have to live with that–whether you individually like it or not or whether a remaining minority of Cuban exiles like it or not–because the fact of the matter is, this democracy is larger in representative numbers than you and all of the same people who have the same views as you. And I mean by the millions. You stated there are 2.0 million cuans in South Florida. For practical purposes, let me give the benefit of the doubt of such figures that ALL cubans as you claiim favor the trade embargo. Well this nation of over 300 million peopls don´t want it so. There´s your problema.

Now, having said that, your telling everyone here that because 2.0 million people of Cuban descent residing in South Florida or even less, want to maintain the Cuba trade ambargo in a country represented by over 300 million citizens who want the trade embarg ended your views should prevail, even the dummest person on the face of this earth would clearly call that an imposition. So spare me of drama, there´s an extreme grade of presumptious thinking in what you say and what you clearly communicate should be imposed upon me because I reside in a democracy. Such is laconically contradictory.

    Nuff said

  12. Then only people that wants the embargo lifted are #1 Americans that don’t have an idea of what the embargo is about and have swallowed the Communist propaganda about the blockade, etc
#2 The Castroites, the same people that forced 2 million Cubans out of Cuba and have destroyed the Island because in 57 years of communism, they have accomplished anything except to enrich themselves and murder the opposition.
#3 American corporations that are looking for their own benefits and who care less about the safety of the United States and ignore the legacy of murder behind Raul Castro government.
#4 The opportunistic Cuban immigrants wrongfully included in the Cuban adjustment Act who every three months travel to Cuba to spend their money there.
#5 The Democrats trying to revive their political Agenda for the next elections.
As we all know the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are the #6 country in the world that sell food to Cuba, for years tons of food have been sold to the Cuban Government.Where is the food going? To the Cuban government stores for tourists.
Why is the food sold to Cuba and the food is not given in a lending or loan program.Simply because the Cuban government has a history of defaulting credits.
This nation of 300 millions don’t want it so?Have you conducted a free voting poll of 300 million of Americans to know who is pro and against the embargo been lifted?
As far as I know the only people who are desperately fighting for the embargo to be lifted are the Ruling Castro family and his cronies,as well as the small percentage of the Pro-Castro economic immigrants residing in Florida.

  13. FREEDOM SEEKER:

“Then only people that wants the embargo lifted are #1 Americans that don’t have an idea of what the embargo is about and have swallowed the Communist propaganda about the blockade, etc”

    JORGE GARRIDO:

The fact is—and contrary to what you believe and say—aside from very judicious, intelligent, accomplished, individuals. Americans, at large, do know; not only the genesis of the Cuban embargo, but its transcendance and its consequences, Of course, in addition to the fact that the great majority of Americans are NOT IN AGREEMENT TO YOUR VIEWS, which is at the crux of your commentary, yet, of what precisely you are presumptious about—from your point of view—as to what is good for Cuba and the United States of America.

In the final analysis, the end of the trade embargo toward to Cuba is now a reality, a “fait accompli”.

Most support ending the embargo on Cuba, and the public tends to approve of President Obama’s handling of the issue

    FREEDOM SEEKER:

“This nation of 300 millions don’t want it so? Have you conducted a free voting poll of 300 million of Americans to know who is pro and against the embargo been lifted?”

    JORGE GARRIDO:

Here´s one source of proof along with the volumes of data of other polling. I don´t conduct polls, Polling compoanies do. Get the picture. I am merely and humbly an informed individual. Americans in Economist/YouGov Polls conducted in the last four years have supported travel, trade and even diplomatic relations with Cuba, and the President’s initiative to improve U.S. relations towards the Castro-led regime in Havana hasn’t changed those opinions. And while Republicans are less likely to support all these options, about a third of Republicans would favor trade and diplomatic relations, while half would allow some kinds of travel. Those levels of overall support for engagement with Cuba have remained fairly constant over the last few years. About half the public has favored re-establishing diplomatic relations since 2011, while somewhat higher percentages have supported travel and lifting the trade embargo. Republicans have always been less supportive. Notwithstading, one group that has been extremely supportive of changes in U.S. policy towards Cuba is the U.S. Hispanic population. More than two in three Hispanics support lifting the trade embargo, while six in ten would permit unrestricted travel and want diplomatic relations, a larger percentage than the public overall.

Another page has been written into the history books and it is not what you desire for Cuba or what you like, but it is the reality.

I am in agrement with the President´s leadership.

THIS PRESIDENT HAS AN EXCELLENT APPROVAL RATING AS COMPARED WITH OTHER PRESIDENTS ON A HISTORICAL BASIS SPECIALLY DURING HIS TERM IN PFFICE WHEN HE INHERITED THE WORST MOST CRITICAL FINANCIAL DEBACLE IN U.S. HISTORY:
