  1. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has continued augmenting the Obama policy of massive American tourism to Cuba, which further strenghtens the dictatorship. Trump has kept in their State Department positions the same Obama bureaucrats who orchestrated renewing relations with Cuba.
JetBlue airline has just inaugurated a new daily route between Boston and Havana. They have other daily flights to Cuba from Orlando, New York and Fort Lauderdale, and two offices in Havana, one downtown and another at the airport.

Carnival cruise now joins JetBlue and other companies competing for tourism to Cuba.

US-Cuba immigration cooperation, initiated under Reagan, has continued since then and the Trump administration has embraced its continuity, which is hardly reported by the American media.

This latest repatriation incident of 36 rafters has been ignored by the US media

On June 12, 2018, Trump told Kim Jong Un that North Korea has beautiful beaches on which to build condos and tourist hotels. Why isn’t Trump promoting “people-to-people” tourism contact with North Korea to bring about democracy like his Cuba policy?

  2. This is very Good Simmons, it was about time. Cuba as we all know is a terrorist nation, the Cuban regime exponsors acts of terrorism, aid and provides refuge to terrorists. Cuba destabilize the region by supporting the communist take over of Sovereign nations, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina in the past. Castro has been trying to destabilize Colombia where Castro supported the Colombian Socialist leader who was associated with the FARC. Lopez Obrador was also cultivated by the Cuban regime through the subvertive Internet group ARGOS internacional created by the Cuban regime. Our government decision to place an embargo on companies that negotiate with the Cuban armed forces is great news, however our effort should be centered on Latin America to provide confidence and support to our friends in the region. Thanks for posting this article Mr Simmons.
